Women have an never ending penchant to be thin, and while that is good to a minor point, it can be taken to extremes. Women have different nutrition needs than men and sometimes they can flirt with danger by getting to involved with diets and the need to “look” a certain way.

Different people have different body sizes, shapes and much of that comes from a heredity that they cannot control. It still holds true that eating a well balanced meal is one of the best ways to stay healthy. Nature has already provided the best way for us to prosper from the standpoint of our health, if we just slow down for a bit and do what works.

When babies come along, the demand on a women’s nutritional system doubles and draws calcium, protein, and other nutrients from a woman’s body, and if she doesn’t compensate for that, she may never catch up. It is important for us all to realize that we have the responsibility to become educated about what we need to eat, or we will suffer the consequences of our actions, or inaction.
There is a great pressure in modern society for women and girls to become and stay pencil thin, and it is unhealthy to say the least. We are a society of eating on the run, as there is no time anymore to sit down to a meal, so we all are short changed nutritionally. Women, especially need to be sure that they are eating properly on a daily basis.
